Peer Pressure

House of Lords TV175Spotted this article on the Huffington Post site, about a ‘pimped up’ TV175 parked up in reserved parking at the House of Lords. So who’s the coolest Peer of the Realm then? And are they a Lambrettista reader? Get in touch if you are M’Lord!

QPR SX

QPR SXQPRSX… sounds like a bad hand at Scrabble…rather nice Apple Green SX outside Loftus Road.

Stunning TV2 For Sale

Stunning S2 TVThere are lots of Lammies out there for sale, and a fair few TV’s, but not many like this stunner. A show-winning, magazine “cover girl” this scoot has the ‘top mod’ look down to a tee. Bedecked in just the right amount of bona fide original accessories, including the rare and lovely Carello half moons… If you know your Lambretta accessories you’ll know this is all top end, ultra rare stuff. A 190cc Harry Barlow Stage 5 tuned engine makes sure it goes as good as it looks… but if you like to keep things authentic, the original top end is included too.

It’s not cheap… it’s got a classified price of £8.5k… but it wouldn’t be; would it! The full story and spec are on eBay here.

BTW, this is the 300th post on Lambrettista… so if it’s not your thing, have a scroll through the other 299… I’m sure there’s something you’ll like.

Badges…

Scooter BadgesBig thanks to ‘Kirko’ from the Lowlanders for sending me a ‘Whisky No More’ goody bag, including this Rally badge…  looks great on my bike jacket!
Apparently a great time was had by all!. Cheers Iain!

Lambretta and a London Bus…

Scooter and A Red Lodon Bus

Well, that’s what I thought when I first saw this pic… but that’s not a Lammie… too skinny a derriere for a Series 2… My guess would be an Agrati Capri… One of the few Lambretta & V*spa competitors that could hold a candle to them in the industrial design stakes.

Anyway, whatever the scooter, it’s a wonderful image, shot by davekpcv on Flickr.

Life’s a beach…

Beach GPThat last pic prompted me to post this one, that’s been sitting on my hard drive for a few days. Don’t know anything about this one either. I’d love to give credit where it’s due, it’s a great shot. So if it’s your scoot or your photograph, let me know and I’ll credit you.

Flat out…

Flying AusieDon’t know much about this shot, it’s from the Scooter Center website, and I’d say someone’s been having a play in Photoshop. But it’s still a pretty cool image…

The guys at scooter centre even speculate as to what set up he’s running… here.

LD Illustration

Retro LD illustrationNot a lot to say about this, other than it’s a lovely period illustration of an LD. Or possibly an LC. I have dreadful problems telling them apart tbh. Is there an easy way to spot the difference?

Pretty fly… for a white guy.

Flying LammieI haven’t posted anything for a while, don’tcha worry though, more content is coming to your favourite Lambretta blog soon. In the meantime here’s another evocative picture, even better than the last one… this fella’s got BOTH wheels off the ground!

Wheelie

Lambretta WheelieVery evocative shot this… another image shamelessly plundered from the Scooterist blog.
