Classy classic combo

Gulf Racing themed Lambretta Sidecar COmbinationThe Gulf Racing colours of pale blue and bright orange are a classic and recognisable combination that work so well together.  I’ve seen them on many vehicles, from Porches to Beetles, Mini’s, bikes and a fair few scoots over the years. But I think this is the first time I’ve seen them on a Lambretta sidecar combination.  In my ever so humble opinion, it works. And it’s for sale on eBay. The scooter (a GP 150) has been upgraded to with a GT 186 kit, so should pull that Watsonian along nicely. It’s on eBay here. But be quick, the auction ends today.Gulf-Bambini-2-6-9-2014Gulf Bambini GP Gulf-Bambini-3-6-9-2014 Gulf-Bambini-4-6-9-2014 Gulf-Bambini-5-6-9-2014

Fast ‘Hot Rod’ S1 on eBay

S1HotRod-14-8-2014I started noticing this look around  a few years ago… based on 50’s rodded cars (and bikes, I suppose) I think it works really well on older style Lambrettas. S1HotRod-1-14-8-2014

This is no ordinary Series 1, I won’t go over the full specs, which are on eBay, but it’s got a RB250 lump in it, and most of the steel has been replaced by fibreglass. If it’s your cuppa… Here it is on eBay

A couple of ‘road racers’…

A couple of nicely done road racers caught my eye on that well known internet auction site…
The first is a rather tasty Martini/Shell themed LI 150. Find out more on eBay, here.

Oi! Bignose…

Czeta-1-2-8-2014A bit of an ugly ducking scooter here… certainly compared to the lovely lines of a Lambretta (or even a V*spa)! To be fair, if you’re not looking at the scooter from the front, it doest look too bad. The saving grace of the Cezeta is a large luggage compartment under the seat… gained by moving the petrol tank to that big nose over the front wheel, just above the headlight. Hmmm. But if you fancy something a bit different you can get your hands on this Czechoslovakian oddball over at that famous internet auction site. It’s certainly a head turner! Cezeta scooter on eBay
