Jet 200 on eBay

ServetaJet200-8-8-2014

Theres’a nice, straight standard(ish) Serveta Jet 200 on eBay. Opinions are mixed about this scoot… is it neither SX or GP, or does it combine the best styling features of both? If you’ve got your foot in the second camp check it out on eBay, here.

A couple of ‘road racers’…

A couple of nicely done road racers caught my eye on that well known internet auction site…
The first is a rather tasty Martini/Shell themed LI 150. Find out more on eBay, here.

Oi! Bignose…

Czeta-1-2-8-2014A bit of an ugly ducking scooter here… certainly compared to the lovely lines of a Lambretta (or even a V*spa)! To be fair, if you’re not looking at the scooter from the front, it doest look too bad. The saving grace of the Cezeta is a large luggage compartment under the seat… gained by moving the petrol tank to that big nose over the front wheel, just above the headlight. Hmmm. But if you fancy something a bit different you can get your hands on this Czechoslovakian oddball over at that famous internet auction site. It’s certainly a head turner! Cezeta scooter on eBay

F Type Progress – and an appeal…

ModF+HarryBackWheel ModF+Harry ModF+Harry2 ModF+Harry4Regular reader may remember Rodney from Oz and his F model. Well, progress on the restoration have continued, with the help of his grandson Harry.  Some of the body parts are at the panel beaters. Once they are ready to go, they will be painted in the original grey – a perfect match to the original paint found on the front forks.ModF+Harry-FrameWhat strikes me when you see the F stripped down, is just how simple the design was… the E & the F really pared things down, even from the looped frame of the A -D’s. And it makes the DonGo “Bare Bones” scooter I featured earlier in the week look super complicated in comparison!

Rod has just about rounded up all NOS parts needed to complete the project, but one thing he is still chasing is a set of handlebars. These “F” model handlebars are proving tricky to track down… so Rod has asked me to ask my readers to see if they have any ideas about how he can come up with a set… Any ideas anybody? Can YOU help?
