Semaphore indicator accessory…

Semaphore_Indicators
Not seen these before (although there seem to be a few listed on the Italian eBay site) Pop-up or ‘semaphore’ indicators for a Lambretta (or a classic scooter anyway). They remind me of the ones I used to have on my old split-screen Moggy Minor. I think they’d look good on a restored older open frame model (A-F), or an LC or LD.

You’d need deep pocket though – they’re priced at €2,000!

lambretta_ln125_2003813c

One of my readers, Dan, had an unfortunate Christmas present over the holidays, with a van driver reversing into his Lambretta LN125. He’s having trouble sourcing a new front cowling to repair it… can you help? If you can, drop him a line to dannyruta@me.com He’s in London, but happy to have it shipped from anybody in the UK. Any dealers out there that can help with this?

Scooter Fix! Relaunch – New Canadian Scooter Shop

Corey SF photoScooter Fix! is owned and operated by my online pal Corey Fraser. Having owned vintage scooters since the mid-1980’s, Corey has an intimate knowledge of Lambrettas, Servetas, and some Vespa models. Scooter Fix! is Canada’s only full-time shop specializing in vintage Lambretta scooter parts. They supply quality Scootopia, MB Developments, BGM, and Casa Lambretta parts. Scooter Fix! stock most parts for Lambrettas made from 1958 through to the end of their production. We can even get many pre-1958 parts by special order. As the shop is JUST starting up, not all the inventory is on the site yet. They also  have a large selection of good used parts, so if you’re after something in particular, give them a bell.

They also have a limited supply of vintage Vespa parts on hand, but can get most parts needed for them from our suppliers in Italy, the UK, and Germany.

Lambretta model C bits on eBay

-1150903338113

I don’t usually post parts I’ve found on eBay up here, but these are sufficiently rare… well… you don’t see Model C bits coming up all that often do you? A couple wheel rims, a hub and a shock, If you’ve got a “C” it’s probably worth snapping them up, even if you don’t need them right now. Fella’s also flogging a couple of LD carbs. Just a bit of a heads up! Link, or search for Morris5901 on eBay.
