Classy classic combo
The Gulf Racing colours of pale blue and bright orange are a classic and recognisable combination that work so well together. I’ve seen them on many vehicles, from Porches to Beetles, Mini’s, bikes and a fair few scoots over the years. But I think this is the first time I’ve seen them on a Lambretta sidecar combination. In my ever so humble opinion, it works. And it’s for sale on eBay. The scooter (a GP 150) has been upgraded to with a GT 186 kit, so should pull that Watsonian along nicely. It’s on eBay here. But be quick, the auction ends today.

LD Barn Find For Sale
Liking the look of this ’56 LD150… Untouched for 30 years, and back and running. For sale for £1950 with lots of spares, including a spare engine. I found it while browsing the Volkszone.com Volkswagen forum, so you’ll probaby have to sign up to that if you’re interested, as I haven’t spotted it on eBay yet…

The King Kurt side panels bring back some pleasant memories of a misspent youth, and some fantastically messy gigs too. Ooh wallah wallah wallah, ooh wallah ooh, indeed.
Jet 200 on eBay
Theres’a nice, straight standard(ish) Serveta Jet 200 on eBay. Opinions are mixed about this scoot… is it neither SX or GP, or does it combine the best styling features of both? If you’ve got your foot in the second camp check it out on eBay, here.
A couple of ‘road racers’…
A couple of nicely done road racers caught my eye on that well known internet auction site…
The first is a rather tasty Martini/Shell themed LI 150. Find out more on eBay, here.
The second is an equally eye-catching National Benzole themed Lambretta/Serveta Eibar Jet200. Full out more on eBay, here.

You wait ages for a Scomadi…
…Then two come along at once. On eBay. I listed Lambretta Innovations #22 a few days a go, now heres it’s immediate predecessor, #21.Full details on eBay
Cushty cutdown
I don’t feature many cutdowns on here… it’s not that I don’t like them… but my personal taste is towards a scooter that messes with the original designers vision as little as possible, or enhances it in subtle ways. But when a cutdown is done properly they can look the business… like this one that’s up for sale on eBay.
Orignal paint framebreather on eBay
Love the original factory paint with period stickers on this ’59 Framebreather.
It comes with a TS1 225 engine, and some minor jobs to get it finished, but to my eye it’s a cracking looking scoot.
The original engine comes as part of the deal, so if you want to take it back to standard, you can.

Nothing on TV
Sometimes, Less is more. In complete contrast to the Real McKoi, a “full on custom” if ever the was one… here’s a simple, straight TV, with nice paint, but nothing too flashy, and it’s just gorgeous.

The Real McKoi
This scooter for sale on eBay is the absolute business. Usually, I can take or leave custom paint… but this is gorgeous… and I just ‘get” the whole concept of this scooter. The Real McCoy means “the genuine article” and this scooter is certainly that. No expense has been spared in the build, with owner going “straight to the top’ and getting all the work being done by some of the best in the business… The paint is by Ty Layer ( Pageant Paiintwork ), Engraving by Adi Clark, Seat by Corky, 250cc Twin Targa Engine build by Stuart from the 100 MPH Lambretta Club, Hydraulic Clutch by Chris Sadd.
It all adds up to one stunning scooter. And it could be yours. Check it out on eBay here
